By Rail:
The Best Western Abbey Hotel in Bath is only 3 minutes walk from the Bath Spa train station.

By Car:
From London, Wales and the North:
i. Leave the M4 at Junction 18
ii. Follow signs for Bath on the A46 for approximately 8 miles, bearing left at the bottom of the long hill, signed for the City Centre
iii. Turn right at the roundabout on the A46 onto the A4
iv. Continue on the A4 for about 2 miles, past Morrisons on your left
v. Once past Morrisons, stay in the left hand lane and at the tall traffic lights, turn left into Bathwick Street, (A36), signed for Bristol / Exeter
vi. Cross over the bridge and past the fire station on your left
vii. Turn right at the traffic lights - Continue straight over the first roundabout - At the traffic lights, use the filter lane to turn right into North Parade - The Hotel is at the end of North Parade, opposite the traffic lights - Bath is approximately 10 miles from the M4. The route indicated avoids the Bus Gates.
 
From Bristol and the West:
i. Keep on the A36 and Follow signs for Bath
ii. When approaching the City Centre, follow signs for Warminster on the A36
iii. At the second railway bridge turn left to the City Centre, onto North Parade Road
iv. The Hotel is at the end of North Parade, opposite the traffic lights

Bus Gates:
Bath operates a Bus Gate system. Please note that there is no North / South access through the city centre between 8.30am - 6.30pm The Bus Gates are noted on the route map.

Parking:
There are 4 good size pay and display car parks within easy walking distance of the hotel. The machines only accept coins and we suggest you have a supply of pound coins available. Rates for parking do change and we have no control over these thought at present, the cost of 24 hour parking is £10.00. We regret that, due to our central location, we do not have allocated car parking spaces for our customers.
