Bath Tea Rooms - Our Homebaked Deliciousness
Thank God for tea! What would the world do without tea! How did it exist? I am glad I was not born before tea." William Gladstone, British Prime Minister.
Whatever your political bias may be, William Gladstone had a point. Tea drinking is ‘right’, it’s cultural, it’s part of the British tradition and it’s even better if you can add in a little “home baked deliciousness”.
The Bath Tea Rooms is located on North Parade in the centre of this world heritage city, at the base of the Best Western Abbey Hotel in Bath.
Our delightful elegant traditional tearoom is housed in a fantastic Georgian building built in the 1740’s and prides itself on serving tea (and coffee) along with beautiful home baked deliciousness.
We have carefully selected twelve loose leaf teas from around the world, supplied by our local tea supplier, Gillard’s of Bath, established in 1886.
The Bath Tea Rooms is open daily form 7.00am to 9.00pm. Our scones and cakes are home baked on the premises. You can enjoy them between 7.00am and 9.00pm daily either indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather.
The Bath Tea Rooms in Bath also serves a selection of other menu items from breakfast through to dinner and a copy of the menu can be seen by clicking here.
